And when one buys a used Porsche, in my mind rewinds to a very important question of the sense of comfort while driving. The driver frowns at the thought of that the car will not provide it to him during the operation which will result in that each horse will be an unpleasant experience, so trying on the car especially pay attention to how they feel on the spot of the driver.
Those of who are in their many experiments used Porsche, the boast that despite the mention brand specializes in high-speed dynamic comfort of the driver’s car is treated as a priority. Speaking about his impressions emphasize that this is a driver’s point of view like dynamic driving, and this means that comfort for them differs from that of users who prefer a car slowly coming on the road. However, moving away from the diversity of drivers who used Porsche say that the whole nature of the car is aimed at strengthening a sense of comfort to the driver. From the shape of chairs that can be easily “stick” during the rapid acceleration of technological innovations to assist the chassis. All this makes that drivers who used a Porsche driving stress that the brand becomes a pure nothing distorted joy. Looking at those who used Porsche is just a bit jealous that enjoyed exceptional comfort during

Whether if we used Ferrari long, they will not spoil them? Or maybe sooner, we can expect a failure on the routes quite a bit shorter or small? Since always, at least since the cars have become so widespread and so popular, you know that when it comes to fuel, it burns less on longer routes. However, the larger the trail, the greater the risk that those who will used Ferrari, will be forced to struggle failures. What are the failures? Mostly minor, such as tire burst, no oil or brake fluid. But it may also be something big, especially on hot days, those who used Ferrari can expect the engine overheating. This is the serious risk of long journeys, which in principle can not be avoided. At short distances, paradoxically, there is a greater risk of collision. Especially in crowded cities. Those who used Ferrari in such places know that by the fact that the distance to the target is small, reduced alertness and caution, which could lead to more or less the collision. In the inner cities are unlikely to develop high-speed, so it is rather minor bumps, but the risk always remains.

Up until now people have got used to the fact that the newer the car, the better it is in terms of environment protection standards, and the less the driver will pay in car taxes. With the new taxation rules it does not hold validity any more. One could also say that new used car taxation rules were somehow imposed more by the ubiquitous economic crisis than by real needs of environment protection. While concentrating on a used car purchase the driver shall bear in mind that they would have to pay up to £1,000 a year for buying a second-hand vessel belonging to the so-called “worst polluter” category. Not being on the tight budget and being able to afford a better model, the buyer could move towards any car which seems to be environmentally friendly. The general rule in the new taxation of used cars states - an environmentally friendly vehicle is the one which does not distribute huge quantities of carbon dioxide with the emission limit set around 250g. Surprisingly as it may seem, this principle even includes used four-wheel drive cars provided that their engines were maintained properly by previous drivers and that all maintenance records look correct. In such cases the purchaser of a second-hand vehicle will have to face a car tax in the amount of £500 per year on average.

A new heavily restyled model from the Swedish maker was launched on the market in 1997 as a replacement of the previous 9000 version. Many visual changes have transformed it in the eye catching spots car that jumps out from the grey crowd on the street. The vehicle tends to keep its value although it has been manufactured for more than ten years so it takes a good buyer to find a used Saab in a great shape for a reasonable price. The car is combining all of the best ideas from previous models with the range of engines made by Saab, GM and Alfa Romeo. All of them offer the driver good acceleration and moderate fuel consumption which saves the money. The only irritating thing about the vehicle is its interior with the cheap plastics and lack of the newest technology which for some can be really annoying. Purchasing a used Saab will compensate those small disadvantages with very good road performance and perfect suspension which makes traveling extremely comfortable. This car has been created to compete with the real players from this class and is definitely worth to consider when looking for a descent used car.

It’s September 2008 so what new van makes and models would we like to arrive at our local dealerships in the coming months? Personally I would like to see a new version of the Transit Connect preferably in terms of interior and dashboard settings. I think with a few more advancements in these areas it would give the vehicle a much more ‘car like’ feel. We know that used vans are noted for feeling dull on the inside as we are usually using them to work with. Therefore, with the introduction of some updated modification settings, vans (the Ford Transit) in particular, would benefit no end. How about a new version of the Connect Crew van? I have actually heard rumours that this will indeed be the case and that we can expect to see something early next year? A new, sliding bulkhead has been mentioned to be one of the modifications to the van. How true and accurate this is I do not know. Whilst I am hopeful about this (which I feel would be just the ticket for this great van), I am not overly confident of its production (just yet!).

Although the area of insurance is not a rocket science, there are many things you find out about as you go through. Under the GAP one may find many sub types of insurance. One of them is Finance GAP. It is available for any vehicle financed under a finance agreement other than contract hire. Finance GAP is fully available to companies as well as private individuals on cars and other vehicles up to approximately five years of age for a maximum cover period of five years and bought within the last three months. This option of gap insurance allows anyone to pay for the period of cover that one requires. If, due to any reason under the finance agreement, the vehicle is written off during the cover period, the motor insurance provider is supposed to pay out the market value of the insured car. It could happen at times that the finance settlement from the insurer provider is in excess of the insurer’s offer. In that case the insured party is personally liable for the financial shortfall. One can also take a look at consequences of vehicles wrote-off during the period of finance agreement but, without taking out the Finance GAP. In such case the car holder is liable for any financial shortfall while settling the finance agreement.

Ok so it is now nearly the end of October and it is being reported that new car sales in September were at the lowest levels in a very long time. It is also to be known that none of the major car manufacturers actually posted profits throughout the UK, Europe and in America. First of all it was pretty obvious that there was going to be a decrease in profit for new cars given the amount that we have seen on the roads. Usually, going back to this time last year, by the second week of September there is usually a huge influx of cars with new registrations on the road. However, this year it seems that there was not and even now with it being almost 8 weeks since the release date, the amount of cars on the road with 58 plates is a lot less than normal. So are people buying used cars instead? Well the answer is yes and no. Yes people are buying more used cars than new cars simply because of cost. However, there are less people buying cars at the moment given the levels of finance and credit currently available. So, yes, those that are buying seem to be purchasing used vehicles. However, the number that is actually buying is much less than normal. Apparently there are many used cars dealers over in America that is counting the cost of credit crunch and lack of demand for their cars. In fact, a large proportion of the decline in sales numbers is not only because of the credit crunch but because people are downsizing their cars in terms of engine size. They are also trying to go “green” and use a car that is better for the environment. So, to summarize then; new cars v used cars – too be honest the used market is probably out in front…..but not by much.

Our reality in economic terms is the reality of economic recession. Despite this gloomy financial climate not all prices are going down and not all goods loose in value. On the contrary, fuel prices are rising again, which hits certain segments of economy and van drivers. The prediction is that that the last year’s average highs of 133.1 pence per single litre of diesel and 119.5 pence per single litre for unleaded petrol could again be exceeded within the coming twelve months. Those high prices could severely affect owners of SUV’s and vans. If anyone is about to buy new or used vans now, it is wise to consider the engine capacity and average distances covered within a month. All that with a view of making sure the fuel bills will not hinder the drivers’ wallets and will not stop company operations for those driving a van on a daily basis as part of their business. Moreover, many companies in the haulage market that operate mainly on vans and trucks have started to report that some seventy percent of them have actually no policy in place in order to manage the increase in oil prices. As times are still a bit hard, everyone is trying to stay afloat by finding new competitive sources of fuel supply. These tactics may be good for some time and the recession, too, cannot last forever. What else can be done? Making good calculations while buying or operating a van seems to be more than useful.

Soon after the Classic model of Land Rover was launched in 1970, it quickly became successful in the car market and established a reputation for itself. First gaining popularity among wealthier members of the farming community, and later with drivers in towns, the used Land Rover Classic was one of the British Motor Industry’s proudest success stories ever. When the production of used Land Rover Classic ceased at the end of 1995, it still looked quite fresh and fashionable, as if being able to still compete for the car market. The vehicle was originally equipped with a 3.5 litre V8 engine, which evolved over the years to finish at 4.2 litres while going out of production. In the opinion of many drivers, the used Land Rover Classic is a car of real international appeal. It used to be sold in markets all over the world, beginning in the US through to Japan and Australia. It is also perceived as one of the world’s finest four wheel drive vehicle. As everyone knows, driving the used Land Rover Classic means there are no obstacles one shall be afraid of – the car can take people on board to the highest peak or through a deeper bog. As its look remain stylish despite the flow of time, a city driver can use it to go to theater or cinema and park alongside Jaguars and BMW’s without feeling out of place.

Car supermarkets are simply establishments which do business all year round. It seems to be that they are yet seen a little bit more positively by customers than car dealerships. What could be the reason? Going to any dealer basically means that you know more or less what you want, you are rather determined to get it and you know almost everything about the car you want to drive. And car supermarkets seem to take benefit the other way round. Their staff are usually highly qualified and eager to assist any potential buyer in the purchasing process, at least in making the final buying decision. It could be one of the reasons for the still growing popularity of car supermarkets. They are often advised as one of the safest places for used or nearly-new car purchase for drivers who are either inexperienced or know very little about cars. Another advantage of buying a car from a car supermarket may be the easiness of the transaction as well as many car finance options available. For someone fresh in the car area it serves as a sort of one-stop shop where all matters can be fixed on spot. In addition, the view of many cars of various types stored in one place and ready for show also makes an impression.
