Volkswagen Golf GTI – The Sporty Adidas Model
No you did not just read that title incorrectly; Volkswagen has added an Adidas Golf GTI to their range of cars! Now this is not unheard of by any means but it is something that isn’t very common among car manufacturers; combining a sports brand with an automobile. Nonetheless Volkswagen has teamed up with sports giant Adidas and has used their number one model to do so. The Golf GTI, as we know is the flagship car of the company and has been for a very long time. Ever since the first used golf was introduced it has grown to unbelievable heights of popularity and has become a real fans’ favourite all over the world. This special Adidas edition of the Golf GTI is expected to be introduced to the mainstream public at the next Australian International Motor Show in October 2010. And it contains certain new features that will make it a very distinctive unit and will therefore effectively be a special / limited edition. Some of these features include Bi-Xenon headlights, tinted tail lights and eighteen inch alloy wheels, which really are something special! It is the seating covers inside the vehicle that display the sporty Adidas look and feel with the middle section of both driver and passenger seat showing the Adidas logo with the three stripes. The gearstick is styled in the shape of a golf ball, which is reminiscent of the original used Volkswagen Golf GTI. This new edition offers a kind of retro feel and very much has the characteristics of a retro vehicle with style.
